Helle Voskuil
Assistant Volleyball
Helle Voskuil begins her fifth season as assistant coach with the volleyball program. Her first season was with head coach Cammie Petree in 2005. Petree left and Voskuil stayed on to work with Jason McAden for two seasons from 2006-07. She stayed on again when Petree returned as head coach beginning with the 2007 season.
Voskuil has seen the McMurry program take winning seasons in three of the past four seasons (2005, 2007, and 2008). She's helped develop 14 all-conference players and saw Terah Brown become the first all-American in the program's history since joining the NCAA in 1996. Brown was an honorable mention all-America selection by the AVCA.
Voskuil's husband, Dave, is McMurry's vice president for admissions. Her son, Allan, played four years for Texas Tech's basketball program under head coaches Bob and Pat Knight. Allan plays for the Denmark National Team (Helle's home country) and signed a contract to play professionally in the Spanish League for the 2009-10 season.
