Opposing Team Information - Sports Medicine

Opposing teams and guests visiting McMurry’s campus for athletic events should know the following information if they need treatment for athletic training purposes.

McMurry’s sports medicine facilities are located in the Hunt P.E. Center on the northwest corner of campus. Treatment rooms are in rooms 123 & 124 while the taping room is in room 126. The athletic trainer’s office is in room 125.

All sports needing treatment should report to the Hunt P.E. Center facilities unless teams are reporting for baseball. In that case, the athletic training facilities are located at Driggers Field just off campus on South 17th Street east of the main campus.

Teams can expect the following equipment when participating in athletic events at McMurry:

• Ice / Bags
• Cups
• Hot & Cold Whirlpools
• Modalities – Ultra Sound / Stem Treatment
• Hydrocollater
• Flexi-Wrap
• First Aid Supplies
• Emergency Supplies, AED, splints, cructches, spine board, etc.
